This concept video for my forthcoming feature-length slasher film King Magnum directed by and starring me examines the blatant disrespect from would-be prospective clients who wait until the last minute to contact me regarding a party, provide me little to no valuable information, and demand a price before I even know if I want to book it. In the case of this winner, who called during the production of this video, she isn’t even sure when the party is, doesn’t tell me where it is, and demands a price not once but twice. This behavior was definitely not the de rigueur of prospective clients in my heyday. Otherwise, I never would’ve made a career out of private party entertainment. But I made lemonade out of lemons by including her voicemail in this video to give you a real-life taste of why I’m making a brutal slasher film about a male stripper butchering mean girls.
