The After Hours collection is a triptych of meticulously arranged intimate objects telling a provocative story in a fashion much sexier than any meth head from Model Mayhem could. The full-size printable version of each is available for purchase from me directly. This collection is the result of experiments with still life photography at the time combined with my (mostly) disappointing experiences working with female models on glamour shoots. These photos were my attempt to tell the sexy stories that my muses (so to speak) couldn’t grasp or care less about. Once again… If I wanted something done right, I had to do it all myself.
After Hours 1
After Hours 1 is the first piece in a triptych of still life photos I shot on Christmas night 2015. I documented this photography session in my bare-all memoir Naked Ambition: A Male Stripper’s True Account of Making Girls Behave Badly:

“I spent Christmas night experimenting with product photography in my garage while drinking Jack and Coke. This session centered around creating sexy settings including items like handcuffs, lingerie, wine glasses, and bedsheets. Attempting to tell an erotic story through still images using only inanimate objects. This was sexier than photographing some wannabe female model naked in the woods. The results were better than anticipated. Providing me with three fine art photography pieces that I would later sell online in a variety of print options.
“As I enjoyed this alone time, the phone rang. I should’ve let it go to voicemail as anyone with the nerve to call me on Christmas night must be trouble. Muscle memory got the best of me and I answered. Only to encounter a shrill and intoxicated female voice.
“‘Yeah, we need you to send a male stripper to our party we’re having right now,’ she abrasively slurred with all the charm and grace of a drunken Hillary Clinton.
“There was a time when I would’ve tried to book that party. Disgusting as that woman was. Even knowing that, if I did, it would be a disaster. But not tonight. Not only because I was a little buzzed myself, but because I was too good for this nasty woman and her surely god-awful friends. It didn’t matter how much money they had. My time that night playing with photography and being creative was worth more than anything they had to offer me. So, I politely declined and hung up.”
The torn paper effect is a separate photograph of torn paper that I blended with the top of the photo where it was cropped to make way for the text and checkerboard graphic layered underneath. The black thong was a gift I purchased – along with a few other intimate apparel pieces that appear in this collection – for a girlfriend many years ago. We broke up before I had the chance to give them to her. The wine glass was purchased as a gift for my good friend Vicki and was given to her following this shoot. The gift bag came from a gift that Vicki had given me previously. And the pillow is something I picked up from the local At Home for this project.

After Hours 2
My bare-all memoir Naked Ambition: A Male Stripper's True Account of Making Girls Behave Badly and its ultra-smutty companion novel Wild Nights of Arkansas Strippers: Based on a True Story are available in eBook and paperback from Amazon and other online retailers.
The items featured in After Hours 2 are arranged on a table to appear like a bed. I laid down a top sheet and added a pillow in matching case. The Bad Kitty thong and Drink Champagne and Dance on the Table throw pillow from After Hours 1 make a return. And the handcuffs are the real deal that I currently rock as an accessory when dressed in full rock star attire. Although the photo looks good in color, I prefer it in black-and-white underneath the teal text. Overall, this piece leaves viewers with the impression that lots more than dancing occurred on this table.

After Hours 3
After Hours 3 features a red thong and baby tee. Items also purchased for the same girlfriend with whom I split before giving them to her. She really missed out, huh? Anyway, these items are laid out on leopard-print fabric. As with After Hours 2, I preferred this photo in black and white. To which I then added the text and lipstick imprint. Leaving you with the impression that someone actually did some bad things.
