Discothèque (Announced)

As yet another year winds to a conclusion, I’m choosing to end it with a bang (at least, for me) by announcing Studio Nouveauté‘s production of Discothèque in 2012. This feature-length film (with an estimated running time of approximately 90 minutes) is an ultra-stylish mix of suspense, drama, and action as various parties chase after the score of a lifetime in the course of a single night. They collectively race towards a head-on collision, with some falling by the wayside, until only three remain. Set amidst a sea of organized crime and seedy nightlife, Discothèque covers much ground from beginning to end.
I began writing the screenplay for Discothèque in the winter of 2010/2011 with the intention of producing and directing a short film which showcases much of the territory I ultimately wish to explore, and by which I want to define myself, as a filmmaker. LRC (2011) Completed

It is with great pleasure that I announce the completion of LRC, my directorial debut produced in 2011. A promotional short conceived and executed for the campus library at my alma mater, the film is built around a fully realized screenplay and acting performances, allowing me to flex some creative muscle in the process. Along with our two incredibly talented lead actresses, I enjoyed the privilege of working with an incredible film crew of 20-plus, which is a pretty impressively sized crew for a no-budget short film.
While I myself am well aware of the overall modesty of the project (I’ll readily admit that it’s not exactly La Dolce Vita), seeing this projects through from beginning to end as director, producer, writer, and actor (I have a nonspeaking role as a strapping firefighter) represents a significant personal triumph for your’s truly.
